Origami Shadowboxes on Etsy!

I recently made a series of Origami Shadowboxes.  I never used to like Origami, but I bought a really neat origami book for my sister a few months ago and it’s really easy to follow.  So now, I do Origami.  Nothing elaborate, but here’s what I’m doing for starters.

I painted the shadowboxes with cream-colored paint.  Then I cut  a matte out of cardboard and painted that too.

I made  a bunch of origami (Harmony and I just had a debate about the correct usage of “origami.” Sorry if I’m wrong!)  I chose some of my favorites and glued one of each onto a heavy piece of paper.  I then did added some embroidered details.

Here are three of the six boxes I made.  If you want to see the rest, you can head over to my Etsy shop.
