Return of the Dreamboat

I’m getting closer to the end of the painting of Eric and the fawn.  My plan is to work on it today and tomorrow and have it finished by tomorrow evening.  The end of a painting always takes longer than expected, so hopefully my plan works out.

So here it is.  I apologize for the less-than-amazing photos of the painting.  It’s 2ft x 4ft so it’s pretty hard to photograph.  I’ve included the last photo that I posted, plus two more of my progress this week.

I find the background enticing but not intrusive,
a find that little fawn draws me to cuddle it, it looks so real and warm…
I love the folds in Eric’s shirt.
go Meli go, go go go,
you can finish it, you can finish it.
    gooooooooooooooooo Meli!

I like the expressions in all of your paintings. You have a knack for capturing emotion…
