I (Heart) Rearranging Faces

It’s amazing what a huge difference a couple of millimeters can make when painting a portrait.  For example, Grace didn’t look as much like Grace until I moved her eyes down two millimeters.  I also moved one of her eyes to the right a tiny bit, and made some very minor adjustments to her face.  I know one is in color, but try to focus on the lines and see if you can tell.

Do you see what a difference those few millimeters made?!  It really puts the pressure on when you realize that such a small measurement stands between you and a successful portrait.
