Bookin’ It

Cheryl, a friend, asked me to make a green journal for her friend.  I mean the color green, not the environmentally friendly green.  I headed to Stampede to check out their paper selection.  There weren’t a lot of green papers, but I grabbed a couple of cool ones, and some patterned velum.

I’ve already outlined how to make a book in the past, but if you didn’t see those tutorials and want to see how it’s done you can find them here.

Green always makes me think of rainforests, ferns, and the woods (original, right?).  That was my inspiration when putting this book together. I tried something new and made a cutout in the cover.

So that’s the book.  This is the fourth book commission I’ve had, and it was a lot of fun!  Thanks, Cheryl!
